Fabric to suit the job
Polyester-cotton stands up to frequent washing, barely shrinks and dries quickly. 100% cotton and denim hang better and have more presence in a shop or behind a bar.
Recycled and organic options
There are aprons made from recycled material, some GRS-certified, and one in OCS organic cotton. Most models are made under amfori BSCI.
Embroidery or screen printing
Embroidery looks best on heavier fabrics and small chest logos. Screen printing and transfer suit larger logos or designs in several inks.
Where a branded apron works
In hospitality and food retail the apron is part of the uniform: bars, bakeries, greengrocers, delis and food trucks. Hard-wearing fabric and dark colours, which hide stains, matter most there; for front of house and the bar, a short or waiter apron leaves the uniform polo on show.
At trade fairs and activations with cooking demos or tastings, an apron makes the stand team recognisable as your brand from a distance. In companies with no customer-facing kitchen, aprons are used for team-building cooking workshops and as gifts: they don't depend on sizes and are easy to order for a whole team.
Fabric, weight and decoration
Polyester-cotton aprons are the standard for kitchens and bakeries because they cope with daily washing. 100% cotton ones, from 180 g/m², hang better; 240 g/m² cotton and 320 g/m² denim add body and last in high-use roles. Cotton may shrink a little in the first wash: always follow the care label of each model.
The price on each product page already includes one-colour decoration in the standard area. Embroidery holds up well to washing and looks best on the chest or pocket, with a logo up to about 10 cm; screen printing pays off with logos in few inks, and digital transfer handles gradients. Before you pay, you receive a free mock-up with your logo in place.
How to choose branded aprons for your business
- Composition
- Polyester-cotton for frequent washing and quick drying; 100% cotton for a better drape and a more polished look in a shop or dining room.
- Fabric weight
- Between 160 and 220 g/m² for a lighter apron for long shifts; above 220 g/m², and in the 320 g/m² denim, for roles where the apron works hard.
- Style and pockets
- Bib for kitchens and bakeries, where you get messy; short or waiter style for front of house and the bar. Double or triple pockets help with order pads and utensils.
- Decoration method
- Embroidery for small logos and heavy fabrics, screen printing or screen transfer for large logos in few inks, digital transfer or sublimation for gradients and many colours.
